Does IAK have tax-exempt status?
Yes, it is further classified as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Service Code.
Who are the volunteers of IAK?
We are a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization.  There is no paid staff at IAK.  Our
founders and board of directors are committed to its success and volunteer their
time and resources to managing and operating the organization.

What specific products and services does IAK provide?

IAK Care Packages:  The Care Packages are provided free of charge to                      
eligible single mothers throughout the United States.  Items include basic                  
living essentials such as clothing, shoes and/or accessories.  The contents              
of the Care Packages are based on availability.

Training and Education:  Recipients can receive free assistance on resume              
development, job referrals, interviewing etiquette and other professional                     
development opportunities.  In addition, we offer workshops on various topics           
such as parenting, education, entrepreneurship, budgeting, finance, personal           
safety, health awareness, etc.  A quarterly newsletter will be published to                    
provide additional resources.

Academic Scholarships:  Monetary scholarships will be awarded to single                
mothers who are currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or                    
trade school.  The recipients must meet specific eligibility requirements and              
be selected by the IAK Scholarship Committee.  The number of scholarships            
awarded will be based on availability.

What is the cost for your products and services?
IAK’s products and services are provided at no charge to qualified single mothers.
What is Infinite Acts of Kindness (IAK)?
Infinite Acts of Kindness (IAK) is a nonprofit organization that enhances the
personal and professional growth of low income single mothers.  Our main
products and services include IAK Care Packages, Training and Education, and
Academic Scholarships.

The vision of IAK evolved from Proverbs 3:27, “Do not withhold good from those
who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.”  Our motto is “sowing seeds of
compassion.”

Infinite Acts of Kindness was incorporated on March 19, 2009, and is
headquartered in King George, VA.  The management team consists of a board of
directors working very closely with a committed group of volunteers to help
accomplish its mission.
Who is eligible to receive products and services from IAK?

  1. receive local, state or federal income assistance;
  2. reside in subsidized housing;
  3. be a victim of natural disaster;
  4. need emergency support or undergoing hardship;
  5. be considered low-income*; and/or
  6. have a major illness or disability.

*IAK uses the income guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development’s Program Income Limits (e.g., Section 8) for the current fiscal

What can I do to help?

There are various options in becoming a partner with IAK.  Opportunities include,
but are not limited to:

  • making a monetary donation;
  • donating in-kind contributions;
  • donating new or lightly used apparel, shoes and accessories;
  • conducting career counseling or informational interviews;
  • assisting with resume development;
  • providing marketing and program support;
  • volunteering for special projects and fundraising activities; and
  • donating office supplies or equipment.
What are your objectives?
Our primary objectives are to support low income single mothers by:

  1. Providing basic products and services to improve their quality of life;
  2. Providing direct services that foster self-sufficiency; and
  3. Providing a support system during periods of celebration and challenges.
